Palantir's UK senior vice president hit back at a Labour MP, accusing them of making 'incorrect claims' about the company's software. The company's software, used in the NHS Federated Data Platform (FDP), is live at 142 trusts, with 137 already reporting benefits. NHS England added a caveat to its published figures on June 6, after the OSR asked for more careful communication of the platform's benefits. The FDP's Inpatient Care Co-ordination Solution helped 111,589 additional patients undergo procedures, but 13 out of 41 trusts reported fewer operations after introducing the tool. Other factors, including staffing and bed capacity, could have affected these results.
