Stella

Stella is a macOS desktop app that runs semantic search across the contents of your local files. It indexes text-based documents (PDFs, notes, spreadsheets, docs) directly on-device and lets you describe what you're looking for in natural language instead of remembering filenames. Everything runs locally on Apple Silicon — no cloud, no telemetry, no accounts. You pick which directories Stella should watch, the embeddings stay on your machine, and the app keeps working offline.
