AI Skepticism: 84% of Americans Doubt Positive Impact
New research reveals that just 16% of Americans believe AI will have a positive impact over the next two decades, while nearly half expect it to be detrimental. This pessimism is particularly pronounced among younger demographics: only 14% of those under 30 see AI as beneficial. Despite these concerns, daily use of AI chatbots like ChatGPT has surged, with 44% of U.S. adults now using them for research and work purposes. The study highlights a significant gap between public sentiment and current adoption rates.
